This 2026 edition of the independent and inclusive initiative by DE-CIX, the world’s leading provider of interconnection services and operator of Cloud & Internet exchanges, was co-organised with several founding partners, including CAMTEL.
Atlantic Convergence 2026 brought together a wide range of stakeholders from the global digital ecosystem: cloud and IP transit providers, Internet Exchange operators, network equipment manufacturers, submarine infrastructure players, and technology solution providers.
CAMTEL’s stand at the event received over 30 visitors, offering just as many opportunities for discussion with stakeholders interested in new prospects for collaboration.
The event also enabled CAMTEL to showcase its capabilities and initiatives, while reasserting its position as a national player in telecommunications and digital infrastructure in Cameroon and Central Africa. In particular, it highlighted CAMTEL’s strategic role in connectivity between Africa and Latin America, at the heart of new dynamics in data flows and international digital exchanges.
The sessions and workshops dedicated to digital transformation enabled CAMTEL’s teams to further enhance their understanding of emerging trends, technological developments, and market expectations in the area of telecommunications and digital services.
All in all, this participation reflects CAMTEL’s commitment to strengthening its partnerships, developing new opportunities, and actively contributing to building an African digital ecosystem that is ever more connected to the rest of the world.
